The problem
Modern analytics tools force product teams into rigid query builders. Nexus needed conversational analytics that could plan, query and visualize without breaking trust.
The architecture
Next.js on the edge, a typed event SDK, columnar warehouse on Postgres + Timescale, and a LangChain agent layer with strict tool boundaries and SQL guardrails.
Outcome
Beta launched in 9 weeks with sub-100ms p95 queries on multi-million row datasets and a 92 NPS from design partners.
